After school robotics program
Age: Prep to Year 6 students
Playing games and learning enhance the cognitive ability, imagination, observation power, expressive power and creativity.
Through learning coding and robotics, we prepare students for the jobs of the future and develop their skills in critical thinking, creativity,
collaboration and innovation.
LEGO® Education WeDo 2.0 is an intuitive hands-on solution designed to develop elementary school students' curiosity and confidence to solve real-life problems through engaging STEAM projects. Easily adaptable to fit any learning environment, WeDo 2.0 challenges students to define problems, ask questions, and design their own solutions—setting them on a path to become lifelong learners.
Using the LEGO® Education SPIKE™ App students will experience intuitive coding. With LEGO® Education SPIKE™ Essential, students can progress all the way from lower to upper primary following a progression of block-based coding from icon blocks to word blocks based on Scratch. This provides age- and skill-appropriate tools for developing their coding proficiency.
Using the LEGO® Education SPIKE™ App The LEGO® Education SPIKE™ Prime Set is the go-to STEAM learning tool for grade 4-8 students. Combining colorful LEGO building elements, easy-to-use hardware, and an intuitive drag-and-drop coding language based on Scratch, SPIKE Prime continuously engages students through playful learning activities to think critically and solve complex problems, regardless of their learning level. From easy-entry projects to limitless creative design possibilities, including the option to explore text-based coding with Python, SPIKE Prime helps students learn the essential STEAM and 21st century skills needed to become the innovative minds of tomorrow... while having fun!
Take drones to the next level and give your drone instructions by programming it! You can easily learn programming languages such as Scratch, Python, and Swift. Complete with DJI’s flight control technology, Tello EDU also supports Electronic Image Stabilisation.Write code to command multiple Tello EDUs to fly in a swarm and develop amazing AI functions. Programming has never been this fun with Tello EDU!You can even program multiple Tello EDUs simultaneously through one device and create a drone swarm! Let them perform flips or other acrobatic movements. For advanced programming, the mission pads are a fantastic pads for increased precision. They not only serve as guiding points, but as trigger mechanisms. Program with the specific information within each mission pad to expand your options and push the limits of Tello Edu. You can write code that will enable your aircraft to recognise each Mission Pad’s unique ID, as well as perform aerial acrobatics. Control a swarm of Tello EDU’s and bring your imagination to life!Discover more with AI!Access video stream data with Tello EDU, creating more possibilities for image processing and AI development. The new SDK 2.0 allows you to develop Tello EDU further, realising more AI functions such as object recognition, tracking, 3D reconstruction through programming, computer vision, and deep learning technologies. The Tello drone also supports block programming. Simply drag coding blocks on the screen to program Tello EDU and enable certain movements.
Be the first to hear about upcoming courses and special events.
This course is designed for Prep and Year 1 age students. Roborobo provides students an insight into the mechanics of robotics. The course builds on the foundation level and students use the engineering design process to construct a functioning robot with electrical and mechanical components. The course will provide students with skills in mechanical design, engineering design process, mathematics, critical thinking and problem-solving
Maybe your child is a future engineer, a scientist or a robot designer?
As parents, we all want a bright future for our children, and are always looking for ways to support the talents, skills and interests they possess. We are presented with a host of different opportunities to explore activities from sport to drama classes and chess, but with digital technology paving the way for the future, why are opportunities for our children to explore engineering so limited before the age of seven?
We truly believe that STEM education should start from early years, and are industry leaders, proving that engineering can successfully be introduced throughout the early years when children have a huge capacity to get curious about STEM, learn via play and make fun out of it.
Our aim is to provide the “alpha generation” of Prep to Year 2 students opportunities to engage in our fun, interactive and educational Robotics program and provide children and their families a chance to discover, learn and thrive in this fast-paced technological world.
