SAFETY AND HEALTH
Safety of students is the thing we are really care about. Every workshop starts with safety rules information. If you are enrolled into Robotics Class/Workshop, please carefully read safety rules and explain them to your kids at home environment.
Littlealphas Safety rules
In classes we offer students some snacks and supply water. In case your child has a medical condition, please, ensure you have informed us of any special requirement. Those requirements must be specified in the enrollment form under additional information section or sent by email to littlealphasgc@gmail.com. Parents/guardians understand and are fully aware of the risks associated with their child participating in the activities and won't suit, proceed, demand compensation of costs and expenses which may be taken or made against Littlealphas and Littlealphas staff.
EQUIPMENT
We provide all equipment and learning materials for our classes based on the littlealphas curriculum.
ATTENDANCE
Starting on time is important. It allows an educator to fully explain the session to the whole group and increase time an educator can spend providing feedback and answering questions.
If you know your child is going to be absent for any reason, please, call our office, send a txt message or email us with student’s name, class, location, contact number, date/dates of absence.

DROP-OFF, PICK-UP, PERSONAL BELONGINGS
Littlealphas staff collects students from their classes at school to ensure they are safe on their way to Littlealphas workshop. Please let us know in written form before classes commence if any other guardians other than parents are assigned to pick up your child after our classes. Please, pick up your child on time. Your child will stay in the classroom under our supervision if parents/guardians do not come on pick-up time. If your child is not a student of school where we are running our classes, then this is parents/guardians’ responsibility to ensure their children come before lessons commence. Please, fill our sign out form after each lesson.
We carry no responsibility for any injury, death, loss or damage to the student's personal belongings during a class.
RESPECTFUL BEHAVIOUR
Please, talk to your kids and explain we expect them to respect our teachers and other students. Bullying is not allowed in any form and we hold the right to cancel the rest of the session with no refund due to bullying and inappropriate and not respectful behaviour.
ENROLMENTS, PAYMENTS
Parents can enroll on Littlealphas website https://littlealphas.com.au/services or by call 0414 670 335. Enrolments will not be accepted without payment. When not paid, we are not able to guarantee availability of place for your child. If you are not able to pay before classes start but wish to be enrolled into the program, please, contact us 0414670335 to discuss available options. When enrolling your child into our program you agree on the Rules and Conditions.
You will receive the first email notification that your child’s enrolment is coming to an end around two weeks before your child’s last session and two weeks before next term classes start.
REFUNDS
You can get a full refund without penalties or fees:
1. When cancelling enrolment earlier than 15 working days before the start of the first class
2. Inability to attend 50% of classes due to a medical condition (medical certificate required)

PHOTOS and VIDEOS
We may take pictures and record videos during the lessons. We may use them for promotional purposes, on our web site and social networks, our news and blog publications.
If you do not want to give us a permission to use any of the materials with your child, please, inform us in a written form.
CLASSES CANCELLATION
We reserve the rights to cancel the classes at any time. In case we cancel any classes, we will notify you beforehand and refund the cost of cancelled session/sessions.
TERMS AND CONDITION INFO
Terms and conditions are published on Littlealphas web site https://littlealphas.com.au/. When enrolling your child into our program you agree on the Rules and Conditions. We reserve the right to update and change the rules and conditions at any time. The changes become effective immediately after publishing them on our web site. To ensure you are aware of the rules and conditions, please, check them regularly.
This Privacy Policy applies to the services offered by Little Alphas ABN 70669401468 (“Little Alphas”) and is not intended to limit or exclude your rights under the Privacy Act 1998 (Cth).
1. Personal information
Little Alphas is committed to safeguarding personal privacy. It recognises that individuals have a right to control how their personal information is collected and used. Providing personal information is an act of trust and it is taken seriously. Unless given consent to do otherwise, Little Alphas will only collect and use personal information as set out below.
2. Collecting personal information
Little Alphas will not collect or monitor any personal information about an individual without their consent. The only personal information collected is what has been provided voluntarily.
Little Alphas will only collect personal information that is reasonably necessary for Little Alphas to fulfil the services or activities of Little Alphas. As an approved education and care provider, Little Alphas is required to collect some personal information under law, under the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations, Family Assistance legislation and Public Health legislation.
If you do not wish for your personal information to be collected you should discuss this with a Little Alphas employee. Little Alphas employees will act strictly in accordance with this policy and will be happy to discuss the reasons for seeking to collect your personal information. They will also discuss with you any consequences of not providing your personal information, or providing incomplete or inaccurate personal information, which may include an effect on what services Little Alphas can provide to you.
3. Use of tracking technologies
Little Alphas uses tracking technologies such as cookies or web beacons to make use of the website and services as convenient as possible. Cookies are pieces of information that a website transfers to a computer’s hard disk for record keeping purposes. Most web browsers are set to accept tracking technologies such as cookies or web beacons. These tracking technologies do not themselves personally identify users, although they do identify a user’s browser.
4. Using and disclosing your personal information
Little Alphas collects personal information of parents and guardians, children, employees and stakeholders for the primary purposes of providing early childhood education and care services and advocating for the well-being, protection and development of children. Little Alphas will only use your personal information for the purpose it was collected or a reasonably expected or related secondary purpose.
For the purpose described above, information may be shared with Little Alphas group or associate companies either in Australia or overseas. Also, in order to operate the web site or deliver a service, personal information may also be shared with a service provider, which may be a business or company that is not related to Little Alphas.
Little Alphas will not otherwise disclose personal information to a third party for any other purpose without your consent unless it is authorised or required by law.

If at any time you believe that Little Alphas record of your personal information is incorrect, please let Little Alphas know. We will take reasonable steps to correct the information so that it is accurate, complete and up to date.
In some circumstances which are prescribed by the Privacy Act, such as where to do so might put a person at risk of harm or have an unreasonable impact on the privacy of others, Little Alphas may decline access to personal information. If your request for access is denied, Kids Club will provide you with a reason.

Little Alphas provides links to web sites outside of the Little Alphas site. These linked sites are not under the control of Little Alphas, and Little Alphas is neither responsible for the conduct of companies linked to the Little Alphas website, nor for the performance or otherwise of any content and/or software contained in such external websites.
